It would be fantastic if students could play sports on a regular basis, on their own school grounds.

Our board member Wambui Wa Gicheru has investigated that the construction of a basketball court is possible. The total costs are almost €12,000. That is absolutely not financeable for the Githwariga Primary School. Even for our small foundation it is a huge amount. With the help of loyal sponsors and various actions, we have now collected more than €9,000.

We are investigating whether the field can be used outside school hours, for a small fee, by sports clubs, for example. This will enable the school to build up a maintenance budget.
